Wireless load shackles / Wireless wedge sockets

Our model 5000M – a load shackle comprising a zinc-plated, painted or stainless steel shackle and stainless-steel load pin – and usually supplied in a hard-wired solution, is also available with a wireless system module mounted at the load pin end (5000M-WI), including a transmitter, antenna and battery. Maximum available ingress protection IP67, although IP65 and IP66 are also available for the load pin itself.

Applications include tension measurement on a winch, crane certification with water bags, lifting and weighing containers in one operation, tension control of conveyors, etc.

Available for capacities 1t (and lower) up to 1500t (or higher on demand), the wireless load shackle can be supplied with the following receivers:

• Hand-held display 1 channel
• Hand-held display multiple channels: 12 and 99
• Receiver with analogue output (0-10V, 4-20mA), IP50 or IP67 version
• Receiver with USB output + display/recording freeware
• Receiver with RS232, RS485, Modbus output

For use in hazardous zones, we can supply solutions for zones 0, 20, 1, 21, 2 and 22 for the load shackle and its transmitter. A receiver with analogue output is only available in the IP67 version for installation in a safe zone or mounted inside an Ex d enclosure for installation in zones 1, 21, 2 or 22.
